Our process

Apply
Fill in the adoption application. It asks about your home, your household and the pets you have had before.

Review
A volunteer reads every application and may contact you with a few more questions.

Home visit
For some adoptions a volunteer visits or video-calls with the household before a match is made.

Finding your pet
Say how matches are made, and how an applicant can ask about a specific dog.
Additional information
- Applicants must be adults and live in a home where pets are allowed.
- Our volunteers review applications in the order they arrive, so please be patient.
- Every pet is spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines before going home.
- The adoption fee helps cover that medical care and is shown with each animal.
